What the CMMC readiness check covers

CMMC, short for Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification, is the U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) program that checks whether contractors protect sensitive government information. This self-check asks 5 questions about your DoD work, the sensitive information you handle, and the security paperwork you already have, and shows your readiness score once you add your contact details at the end.

Who it is for

It is for small and mid-size companies that hold DoD contracts, subcontract to a prime contractor, or plan to bid on defense work and want to know where they stand.

What you get

  • A readiness score that places you as strong, developing, or early stage.
  • A plain explanation of what that score means for your next steps.
  • The option to talk with a Norvet CMMC advisor, with no obligation.

This is a quick self-check, not an official assessment or a certification. Norvet is not an authorized CMMC assessor, so your score does not replace a formal review.
