Operational Excellence: Legacy Decommissioning and Emergency Remediation

Rapid, high-impact interventions were delivered across law and architecture environments, combining legacy rack cleanup with emergency physical-network remediation.

Past project. Today, Norvet does not perform or contract regulated low-voltage installation; tell Norvet about a project and Norvet can help connect it with an appropriate licensed contractor.

Legacy Cleanup

Server Room Remediated

The law firm's obsolete telecom clutter was removed and reorganized.

Diagnostics Improvement

Faster Future Troubleshooting

Modernized topology and organized patching reduced future diagnosis friction.

Emergency Recovery Window

24 Hours

Connectivity restoration target achieved for the architecture firm.

Client Impact

Production Delay Avoided

Restoration prevented cascading interruption across active design work.

The Challenge

One law firm faced obsolete telecom hardware and poor airflow in its server environment, while a New York architecture firm experienced a critical physical network failure that halted production.

The Solution

Nonviable legacy wiring was decommissioned and the active rack infrastructure rebuilt. Norvet installed a next-generation firewall, and damaged Ethernet infrastructure was repaired on an emergency basis, with signal integrity verified.

The Outcome

The law firm gained a clean, supportable network core and the architecture firm restored connectivity within a 24-hour window, preventing cascading project delays.

Law Firm

Obsolete 66-block clutter that was affecting rack airflow and making network maintenance needlessly difficult was removed.

The remaining live infrastructure was re-terminated into structured keystone patching and supported by new firewall deployment and better topology visibility.

Architecture Firm Emergency Response

A physical network failure severed access to high-capacity design servers and threatened ongoing delivery work.

Damaged cabling was re-terminated on an emergency basis, local signal integrity was verified, and connectivity was restored inside a 24-hour window.
