The situation
What you're up against
A buildout has a hard opening date and a long punch list. The cabling underneath all of it is what we own.
A hard opening date you can't move
The sign is up, staff is hired, inventory is arriving. The registers have to work on opening day, not the day after.
POS and payment cabling that has to be right
Registers, card terminals, kitchen displays, and the back office all need clean, dedicated runs. A flaky drop at the counter means a line of customers and no way to take cards.
Guest Wi-Fi and cameras on the punch list
You need staff Wi-Fi that works, guest Wi-Fi that stays separate, and cameras over the registers and entrances, all wired before the ceiling closes.
A contractor timeline that keeps shifting
Buildouts slip. You need a cabling partner who can hold the schedule and move when the GC moves.
What we handle
What a retail or restaurant buildout includes
Scoped to your specific layout, whether that is a dining room and kitchen or a sales floor and stockroom.
POS and payment drops
Dedicated runs for every register, card terminal, and kitchen display so checkout never depends on a borrowed jack.
Back-office network
Cabling for the office, the modem and router location, and the back-of-house equipment that runs inventory and payroll.
Staff and guest Wi-Fi cabling
Access point drops placed for full floor coverage, wired so guest traffic stays separate from your registers.
Cameras and entrance coverage
IP camera runs over registers, entrances, and stockrooms, terminated into a clean closet.
Opening-day readiness
We test every run and hand off documentation so you are not troubleshooting wiring on opening morning.
How it works
From first call to documented handoff
The same disciplined process on every project. No guesswork, no scope creep.
Site walkthrough or plan review
We walk the space or review your floor plan and photos to understand scope before anything is quoted.
Scope and quote
You get a clear, itemized quote: drops, materials, labor, timeline. No surprises.
Install and label
A vetted crew pulls, terminates, and labels every run at both ends, project-managed by Norvet.
Test and hand off documentation
Every run tested. You get a port map and panel diagram so the next technician can read the closet.
Common questions
Can you hit our opening date?
That is the whole point of bringing us in early. Give us the buildout schedule and we will slot the cabling into the right window and hold it. If the GC moves, we move with them.
Do you handle the POS hardware too?
We handle the cabling and network the POS depends on. For the POS system, payments, and merchant account, Norvet can coordinate those through our partners so you have one team, not four.
Restaurant and retail are different. Do you do both?
Yes. The cabling fundamentals are the same: clean drops, separated networks, a documented closet. We scope to your specific layout, whether that is a dining room and kitchen or a sales floor and stockroom.
What about multiple locations?
We standardize the spec, labeling, and documentation across every site so location 12 is wired exactly like location 1. One point of contact for the whole rollout.
Need internet, VoIP, cameras, cybersecurity, or POS for the same project? We coordinate that through our vetted partner network once the cabling scope is clear, so you have one point of contact for the whole job. See everything Norvet does.
Tell us about your buildout
Send your floor plan or schedule a walkthrough. We will scope POS, Wi-Fi, cameras, and back-office cabling into one clear quote.
