Dual pricing

Accept cards for little to no processing cost

Dual pricing means you show two prices: a cash price and a card price. Customers who pay by card cover the card fee, so accepting cards costs your business close to nothing. It is legal in Georgia and most states as long as both prices are shown clearly at checkout.

Bank-grade encryption. Your application details are never sold.

Not sure what you pay now? Estimate your card fees first.

Card fees move to the card price

You post a cash price and a slightly higher card price. Customers who choose to pay by card cover the processing cost, so it comes off your books instead of your margin.

Apply and sign in one sitting

The application below is the full boarding form. Enter your business and owner details, connect your bank, and e-sign without printing or scanning anything.

One provider for the whole stack

Norvet also handles your POS, network, and security, so the terminal that runs this is plugged into infrastructure we support.

Dual pricing is not a way to hide fees. You must display both the cash and card price so customers can choose. Card-brand and state rules apply, and an account manager will walk you through signage and setup after you apply. Debit and monthly account fees are not covered by the card price.

Frequently asked

What is dual pricing?
Dual pricing means you post two prices for the same item: a cash price and a slightly higher card price. Customers who pay by card cover the difference, so accepting cards costs your business close to nothing instead of coming out of your margin.
Is dual pricing legal in Georgia?
Yes. Dual pricing is legal in Georgia and most states, as long as both the cash and card price are shown clearly at checkout. Card network rules on signage and disclosure still apply, and an account manager walks you through compliant setup after you apply.
What is the difference between dual pricing and a surcharge?
A surcharge adds a fee on top of one listed price when a customer pays by card. Dual pricing shows two separate prices up front and lets the customer choose. They land in a similar place financially, but customers tend to respond better to choosing a price than to seeing a fee added.
Does dual pricing cover debit card and monthly account fees too?
No. Dual pricing moves most credit card processing cost to the card price, but debit card transactions and any monthly account or equipment fees are not covered by the card price and stay part of your normal cost of accepting payments.
How long does the application take?
About 10 minutes for most businesses. The form on this page is the full boarding application, so most applicants finish in one sitting without printing or scanning anything.
